Q&A with Gallery Director William Dammann:
How long have you been director at LIK KEY WEST?
I’ve been the director here for over three years but I’ve been with Peter’s company for about five years. In that time I’ve been a part of opening four galleries for Pete. A gentleman named Trevor Barr is my Associate Director.

What do you like most about your job?
I truly love presenting Pete’s masterful photography to the world. And I love being surrounded by these images every day. I mean, what a great environment to work in!

What’s your favorite Peter Lik photograph?
My all-time favorite Peter Lik image is “Ancient Spirit” yet I own more than a dozen. I guess you could say I can’t get enough!

Do you have a memorable collector experience?
I have so many! From color-blind grown men in tears because they had seen and understood blue or green for the very first time, to honeymooners celebrating their love, to famous collectors. I would say that my most memorable experiences are the ones that make life-long collectors and friends from the first sale!
