Peter Takes Times Square
By Adrian Zupp
The news just keeps getting bigger!
We’ve just learned that Peter is going to be a super-sized video star in the very epicenter of modern Western civilization: Times Square.
Beginning this afternoon, Peter will be featured in four-minute spots every hour promoting “From the Edge with Peter Lik” on a 25-story digital billboard at the corner of 46th and Broadway. That’s four giant screens of Mr. Lik.
In addition, the entire premiere episode of the show will be screened on the mammoth structure, commercial free. Which, if you’re still counting, makes it five screens the Master Photographer will be on in living color, towering over Gotham. Yep, it’s gonna make King Kong climbing the Empire State Building look like a minor carnival trick.
Not too shabby for a bloke from Down Under who came to the States with little more than a dream and raw talent.
So if you’re going to be in the Big Apple over the next 24 hours or so, head on down to Times Square and… look up. The rest of you? Well, you can only do what all of us at LIK USA™ in Las Vegas are doing: just be kind of amazed from afar.
“From the Edge with Peter Lik” premieres tomorrow night at 8/7c.
